Obituary of SISTER LORETTE BRIERE
S. Lorette Brière
Le dimanche, 18 janvier 2015, S. Lorette Brière fit son entrée à la maison du Père à l’âge de 81 ans. Elle était membre de la Congrégation des Missionnaires Oblates de Saint-Boniface depuis 56 ans.
Lorette naquit à Gravelbourg, SK le 1er janvier 1934. Son père, Jean-Baptiste Brière et sa mère, Antoinette Vachon, étaient tous les deux originaires de Oak Lake, MB.
L’ont précédée dans la mort, ses parents et ses sœurs, Anna Richard (feu Alex) et Alma Gauthier (feu Bernard).
Elle laisse dans le deuil les membres de sa Congrégation religieuse, cinq sœurs, Thérèse Hamon (feu Émile), Rita Legault (feu Antoine), Claire, Berthe Laflèche (feu Martial), Aline LaFlèche (Louis) ainsi que plusieurs neveux, nièces et ami.e.s.
Les prières seront le vendredi, 23 janvier 2015 à 10 h à la chapelle de la Villa Aulneau, 601 rue Aulneau, Winnipeg, MB. Les funérailles seront célébrées à 13 h 30 au même endroit. Le Père Arthur Massé, o.m.i., présidera la célébration.
L'inhumation des cendres aura lieu au Cimetière Saint-Boniface, rue Archibald le mardi, 27 janvier, 2015 à 10 h 30. La direction des funérailles est confiée au salon Mortuaire Cropo.

Sister Lorette Brière
Sister Lorette Brière passed away at Actionmarguerite St. Boniface on Sunday, January 18, 2015 at the age of 81. She was a member of the religious Congregation of the Missionary Oblate Sisters of St. Boniface for 56 years.
Sister Lorette was born in Gravelbourg, SK on January 1st, 1934. Her father, Jean-Baptiste Brière and her mother Antoinette Vachon were both originally from Oak Lake, MB.
She was predeceased by her parents and her sisters Anna Richard (the late Alex) and Alma Gauthier (the late Bernard).
Along with the members of her religious Congregation, she leaves to mourn her passing, her sisters, Thérèse Hamon (the late Émile), Rita Legault (the late Antoine), Claire, Berthe LaFlèche (the late Martial), Aline LaFlèche (Louis) and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Prayers are on Friday, January 23rd, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel at Villa Aulneau, 601 Aulneau, Winnipeg, MB. Funeral service will follow at 1:30 p.m. at the same address. Father Arthur Massé, o.m.i. will preside the celebration.
Interment of the ashes will take place on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. in the St. Boniface Cemetery on Archibald Street.
The Missionary Oblate Sisters of St. Boniface express their sincere appreciation to the staff at Actionmarguerite St. Boniface for their care and compassion.
