MARIAN BORT
It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Marian Bort, on January 21, 2015 at Seven Oaks Hospital with family at his bedside.
Marian is survived by his wife Stefania; daughter Jean; sister Stella; brother-in-law Garry as well as several nieces, nephews and great nephew.
He was predeceased by his first wife Mary on October 20, 1969 and his parents Anna and Joseph.
Marian was born October 20, 1931 in Poland and came to Canada in 1950 with his parents. He worked for 40 years with CNR and retired in 1995. He was an active member of the Holy Ghost Church since 1950.
Marian was a loving husband, devoted father and family man, who will be sadly missed and fondly remembered.
Prayers will be said on Sunday, January 25 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 26 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Avenue. Interment to follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery, 4387 Main Street.
