Obituary of GARY ROBERT SIMPSON

GARY ROBERT SIMPSON Peacefully on January 25, 2015 at Concordia Hospital, after a brief illness Gary left this earth for a better place. He was 75 years old. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife and partner of 29 years Rhonda nee Litz, sons David (Eleanor) and Derek (Kristin) grandchildren Kieran, Riley, Lily and Drew, in-laws May Litz, Susan Archibald and niece Karen Predeceased by his parents Jock and Trixie, first wife Esther, grandson Owen and father in law Ron Litz. Gary served 5 years in the Royal Canadian Navy before joining the Winnipeg Fire Department. He retired in 1995 as a Captain, having served 30 years. Memorial Service will be held on Monday, February 2, 2015 at 10:00 am at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street Winnipeg. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fire Fighters Burn Fund.
