Obituary of LINDA (LYN) KARLENE KRAYNICK

LINDA (LYN) KARLENE KRAYNICK (NEE THORVALDSON) It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our wonderful mother, grandmother, family member and friend, Linda Kraynick on April 20, 2015 at the age of 64. Linda was predeceased by the love of her life, Ron, her loving and special parents Olive (Dolly) and Karl, and special grandmother Grannie Gray, as well as numerous other extended family members. She leaves to cherish her memory to her devoted daughter Kim, son-in-law Clay, and precious grandson Riley, many cousins, as well as dear neighbours and devoted friends. Linda was born on August 8, 1950 in Winnipeg. She attended St. Johns High School. Linda worked for many years at Josten’s and then worked at the family run business of Shell Canada and Canadian Tire gas bar. Linda was an extremely hard worker. Linda loved all of her family and spent lots of time in Selkirk Manitoba with her Grannie Gray. Linda lived life with a huge, generous loving heart. When you met Linda, you knew she was a very special person and she made you feel very special as well. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family surrounded by good food, conversation and humor. She loved to laugh and enjoyed to play the more than occasional practical joke on unsuspecting friends. But most of all Linda treasured her time with her loving husband, her daughter and grandson. Linda, you will be loved forever and we will miss you terribly, but we know also that you are smiling brightly as you are reunited with Ronnie and Mom. A special thank you to neighbours Joe and Slavica, Sam and Joanne and Danny and Silvanya for always lending a helping hand, as well as special friends Paul and Brenda and cousin Sharon and Rick Balasko. Celebration of Linda’s life will take place on Saturday, April 25 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. at Luxton Ave. Service to terminate at chapel. Interment to follow at a later date. Honorary Pallbearers are Rick Balasko, Brian Gray, Don Prociuk, Joe Vigini, Paul Tustin, and Willie Paul In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to CancerCare Manitoba. The family would like to thank Dr. Park and the medical team and the wonderful and dedicated staff of 7 South at St. Boniface Hospital for their loving care. “Butterfly Kisses forever, Love Kim, Clay and Riley. You will be always in our hearts” Until we meet again
