RUDOLF ALBERT SING
1927-2015
Peacefully with his family at his side Mr. Rudolf Albert Sing, aged 87, passed away on May 2, 2015.
He was predeceased by his father Georg Sing, his mother Maria Sing, his brothers Max and Georg and his sisters Anni and Tilli.
He leaves to mourn his wife Mrs. Marlene Sing; children Lucie, Martin (Maria) Kathy, Steve (Brenda) Rosemarie (Jack), Barbara (Richard) and grandchildren Karmelle, Daniele, Tess (Szymon), Brandon, Emma, Liam, Justine, Jessica and Reece.
Rudolf was born in Diemanstein, Germany on November 30, 1927 and came to Canada with Marlene in 1953. Rudolf's most important missions were religion and family. He had many interests which included belonging to the Kolping Society and was one of its founding members at St. Joseph’s Parish. He also loved socializing with people and playing his card games. He loved nature and fishing. He was an avid photographer and passionate gardener. Throughout his life, he missed his beloved homeland.
Many thanks to the staff at Seven Oaks hospital especially Aubry, Helen, Patience, Dr. Paneskewich, and all the homecare staff. He'll be greatly missed forever.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Parkinson Society Manitoba.
Prayers will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street on Thursday, May 7 at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 355 Andrews Street at Mountain Avenue on Friday, May 8 at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens, 4477 Main Street.
