Obituary of IVAN NENYCH
IVAN NENYCH
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our father, husband, grandfather, brother, uncle and a friend ..Ivan Nenych, on Tuesday morning, May 5, 2015 at Health Sciences Hospital at the age of 74 years with his family by his side, after a courageous battle with illness.
Ivan leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife Maria, daughter’s Alexandra Demkowycz and Luba with husband Dwayne Petryk, two granddaughters Julia and Natasha, five grandsons- Ivan (Ania), Nazariy (Christina), Roman, Nicholas and Michael; brothers Bohdan (Maria) and Volodya (Orysia), numerous nieces and nephews.
He was born on June 30, 1940 in Western Ukraine where he was raised at the family homestead with four brothers and moved to Canada 15 years ago to reunite with his immediate family. Ivan worked very hard to provide for his family and helped many people in need with whatever he could. He loved being with people and was very cheerful individual, a passionate Ukrainian above all. One of Ivan’s passions was his family who he dearly loved and cared for till the day he died.
Our family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to CancerCare at Health Sciences’ Hospital and a special thanks on GA4 floor for all their efforts and care they have provided.
