Obituary of AMBER NICOLE ARMETTE
AMBER NICOLE ARMETTE
July 21, 1980 – June 1, 2015
With heavy hearts, Amber our angel, passed away peacefully while in a coma after sustaining irreversible brain damage. She was surrounded by her immediate family at her time of death.
Despite the various health issues she had encountered throughout her life, she was a strong willed, positive and determined woman. Some of her favourite pastimes included playing cards, portraying the role of a second mother and bashing her wheelchair into walls. She enjoyed attending her day program at S.P.I.K.E. and her physiotherapy sessions with John were the highlights of her week. She was an avid Blue Bombers fan and loved going to her brother’s football games. Amber had a heart of gold and touched so many lives.
Amber is survived by her father Lorne; mother Wendy; brother Craig; two grandmothers; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her grandfathers, Joe Hunnie and Walter Armette.
