Obituary of JOHN (JAN) PRANDZIOCH
In Loving Memory of
JOHN PRANDZIOCH
John “Pikolak” Prandzioch of Winnipeg, Manitoba died peacefully Sunday, June 14, 2015 at the Health Sciences Centre. He was 52.
Born in Warsaw, Poland, he moved to Winnipeg in 1982 where he lived with his wife Ela and daughter Ayla.
An incredibly intelligent man, John was an avid enthusiast of knowledge and technology, who enjoyed learning about his surroundings and, above all, flying. A hair stylist, opening his own salon (Maine Event Hairstyling) in 1986, John realized his dream of flying and later became president of the Manitoba Hang Gliding Association.
John is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Prandzioch; his daughter, Ayla Prandzioch; his two sisters, Margaret Elsey and Inka Jaskulska; his parents, Dana and Richard Prandzioch; and his nephew, Sevdan.
A memorial service in John’s honour will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St., Winnipeg.
If friends so desire, donations in John’s memory may be made to CancerCare Manitoba.
