Obituary of ANNIE BABIAK

ANNIE BABIAK Anne passed away on July 11, 2015 at the Heritage Lodge at the age of 82 years. Anne was born on April 12, 1933 in Canada not long after her family had immigrated from Ukraine. Anne was educated in Winnipeg and worked at her family’s market garden in North Kildonan later working for CNR. One of Anne’s passions was to latin dance. She spent many evenings dancing the night away with family and friends at local dance halls in Winnipeg. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 18 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Andrew’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, 160 Euclid Street with Father Leonard Ratushniak, C.Ss.R. presiding. Interment will be at Holy Family Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery.
