Paisiblement, le Frère Georges Nadeau est décédé le lundi 7 septembre 2015 à Actionmarguerite (St-Boniface), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Il avait 79 ans.
En plus de sa famille religieuse, il laisse dans le deuil ses frères Léo (Marie-Thérèse), Aimé et Denis (Colette) et ses sœurs, S. Yvette Nadeau, s.g.m., Annette Gosselin (Roland), Anita Bisson (Gerry) et Adèle Vermette (Claude) ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces. L’ont précédé dans la tombe ses parents Aimé et Léa Nadeau (née Gooler), ses frères Maurice et l’abbé Robert et ses sœurs Cécile St-Vincent, Lucie, Alice Vielfaure et Laurette Sorin.
Georges est né le 31 mars 1936 à St-Joseph, MB. Il fit ses premiers vœux le 1er janvier 1961 à St-Norbert, MB et ses vœux perpétuels le 19 mars 1967 à St-Norbert.
Les Oblats et la famille Nadeau désirent exprimer leur reconnaissance aux amis du Frère Georges et au personnel d’Actionmarguerite (St-Boniface), pour leur dévouement.
Les funérailles seront célébrées le samedi 12 septembre à 13h30 la chapelle de la Résidence Despins, 151, rue Despins à St-Boniface. (Visionnement du corps à partir de 12h30). La messe sera présidée par père Louis Legaré, omi.
Le corps sera incinéré puis enterré au cimetière de Saint-Boniface le mardi 15 septembre à 10h au cimetière de St-Boniface.

Peacefully, Brother Georges Nadeau passed away on September 7th, 2015 at Actionmarguerite (St. Boniface), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. He was 79.
Besides his religious family, he leaves to mourn his brothers Léo (Marie-Thérèse), Aimé and Denis (Colette) and his sisters, S. Yvette Nadeau, s.g.m., Annette Gosselin (Roland), Anita Bisson (Gerry) and Adèle Vermette (Claude) as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents Aimé and Léa Nadeau (née Gooler), his brothers Maurice and Rev. Robert and his sisters Cécile St-Vincent, Lucie, Alice Vielfaure and Laurette Sorin.
Georges was born on March 31, 1936 in St-Joseph, MB. He pronounced his first vows on January 1, 1961 in St-Norbert, MB and his perpetual vows on March 19, 1967 in St-Norbert.
The Oblates and the Nadeau family wish to thank Brother Georges’s friends and the personnel at the Actionmarguerite (St. Boniface) for their care and devotion.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2015, at 1:30 p.m. at Despins Residence, 151 Despins Street. Viewing will start at 12:30 p.m. The mass will be presided by Father Louis Legaré, OMI. The liturgy will be followed by cremation and interment at St. Boniface Parish Cemetery on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at 10:00 a.m.at St. Boniface cemetery.
