Obituary of RICHARD HOWARD ANDERSON

December 11, 1946 September 8, 2015 Richard Anderson passed away peacefully on Tuesday September 8, 2015 at his home with great dignity and courage after battling cancer. Deeply and sadly missed by his loving and caring wife Henrietta, children Laura (Dean), Angela, Keith (Stefani), grandchildren Lukas and Fergie, sisters Joan and Shirley and extended family and friends. Predeceased by his parents Ken & Lorraine Anderson and brother Frank Rick joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1965 retiring in 1986 when he joined Department of National Defence and retired in 2002. With his Military transfers he was posted in Nova Scotia, Ontario, Saskatchewan, Alberta and lastly Manitoba where he resided for the last 31 years. We would like to thank his doctors and nurses for the wonderful care and compassion they showed. Viewing will be Friday September 11 at 7pm at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, Winnipeg, MB. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday September 12 at 10am also at the chapel. Interment will follow at a later date.
