Obituary of LEONARD FRANKLIN WOLECHUK

LEONARD FRANKLIN WOLECHUK Peacefully on September 17, 2015, Leonard passed away at the Concordia Hospital at the age of 90 years. Leonard is survived by his daughters Judy (Ray) McRobbie, Arlen (Steve) Jones, Leslie (Dan) Woodside and Laurie (Archie) Gagnon; 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and brother Mitch (Vi) Walechuk. He was predeceased by his wife of 67 years, Shirley on January 31, 2015. Leonard spent more than 60 years in the construction industry, working in built-up roofing and construction management. He was proud to say that he built over 1200 homes, mostly with Engineered Homes and LeJohn Construction. He was also active in the Kiwanis Club. During his leisure time, Dad was a sports fan and an avid curler. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, September 22 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
