Obituary of BARBARA PROSICK
BARBARA PROSICK
May 4, 1947 – November 11, 2015
Barbara passed away quietly after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by the love of her family.
She was predeceased by her father Edward Prosick, long-time companion Norman Miga and numerous cousins to cancer.
Barbara will be deeply missed by her mother Olga; sisters Annette, Susan (Smid) and brother Tony.
Raised in the North End of Winnipeg (Point Douglas area), Barbara attended Norquay, Aberdeen and Tech Voc Schools. Prior to her retirement, Barbara worked as an assembler for Wilson’s Auto Electric Company for approximately 35 years. Barbara loved to work in her garden every summer and was very proud of her efforts. She loved going with Norman to Breezy Bend, boating and enjoying the company of (her second family) “Miga family”.
The family would like to extend many thanks to Dr. Grenier (oncologist) and her support staff at St. Boniface Hospital for their wonderful care. Many thanks are extended to her wonderful friends and neighbours, Eleanor and James, who constantly watched over Barbara while she remained at home. God Bless you both!! For your efforts and unconditional love!
Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 21 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Interment will follow at Holy Ghost Cemetery.

Words to live by
“How do we nurture the soul?
By revering our own life. By
Learning to love it all, not
Only the joys and victories
But also the pain and the
Struggles
