JULIA (JUDY) JOYSE DENEKA
July 30, 1939 – November 18, 2015
It is with deep sadness the family announces the passing of Julia Deneka, peacefully with her family at her side, to join those she has missed so dearly.
She will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her daughters, Karen Julius and Colleen Sangster (Paul Lavallee), son Dwayne Deneka (Kelly), daughter-in-law Kim Lundell and grandchildren Brian (Keren), Trevor, Aaron, Scott (Jen), Lindsay (Chad), Alex, Jaiden, Julia, Tyler and Aimee, brother Walter Bonkowski (Donalda) and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband Dmetro Walter Deneka in 2001, son Ryan Deneka in 2014, sister Phyllis Dueck in 2008, mother Anna Bonkowski in 2002 and Father Tony Bonkowski in 1981.
“In the arms of the angels you have been set free. A light in our hearts you will always be”.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Interment will take place at the Okno West Community Cemetery in Okno, MB following a reception.
The family would like to thank the Grace Hospital staff for their kindness and compassion during this difficult time.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mom’s memory to the Winnipeg Humane Society or a charity of your choice.
