Obituary of JAMES ALBERT FISHER

JAMES ALBERT FISHER On Monday, November 23, 2015, James passed away at his residence at the age of 75. Jim is survived by sons Ralph and David, daughter Bridgette and his sister Jane Evely. He was predeceased by his father David Warren Fisher, mother Briggette Mac Grady and daughter Evonne MacGrady. Jim was born in Sydney, Nova Scotia. He served in the Blackwatch for which he received a special service medal. He served as a member of many volunteer boards, was an active member of Manitoba marathons completing 5 half marathons as well as several 10 K walks. During the course of his life time, Jim held several positions with Addictions Manitoba Foundation – Main St. Project – New Careers Department of Manitoba Education Training During the last 10 years of his life he was a productive member of the Osborne Village Community. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 5 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral, 1442 Main St.
