I am going to miss Uncle John very much. I'm thankful I was able to spend time with him in August at mom's and dad's birthday celebration. Over the years, I didn't see him often enough, but I always enjoyed spending time catching up and just shooting the shit.
I am so sorry for your loss, Alan, Denise and John. I know it's not going to be easy moving forward without him. He will be sorely missed.
