ALOJZY (ALEK) KUSZTRA
1924-2015
On Sunday morning December 20, 2015, Alojzy Kusztra died at home of a heart attack.
Born in Hleszczawa, Tarnopol, Poland he lived there and married Eugenia Mazur.
During the end of the war they were forced to move to Kluczbork-Poland, where he finished his education and worked as a director for KZTPMB.
In December 1958, thanks to Stasia and Adolf Krzywdzinski, he immigrated to Winnipeg with his wife and 2 children.
He worked for Inland Steel until his retirement.
Predeceased by his wife Eugenia,20 years ago, his brother Jan and sister Marysia, he leaves to mourn his passing , his sister Aniela Dul of South Carolina and his children Krystyna Arndt (Jan) and Dr. Edward Kusztra (Deisi), his grandchildren Marek (Cheryl), Gosia (Robert) and Diana
(Bruno) also his great-grandchildren Jessica, Markus, Caiden, Myley, Maciek and Dauanne.
He also leaves his cousin Stanley Kustra and many friends from his “Sadoczek Coffee Club “ at Garden City-among them Anna Wegrzyn, Bronia Owczarz, Zofia Kostycz, Halina Konarska, Apolonia Kreml, Bogdan Jasiakiewicz and his chess partner of many years Sam Iskat.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 28, 2015 at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Ave. with viewing at 9:30 prior to a mass. Interment will follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Walter Dubiel, Adam Barczak, Adam Lukow, Henry Kuzia, Edward Skomro and Sam Iskat.
