Obituary of JULIA LOZINSKI
JULIA LOZINSKI (nee Kutasiewich )
It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother Julia Lozinski on Saturday December 19, 2015 at the age of 95 years at Concordia Hospital. She has left us all with wonderful memories and will be dearly missed.
Julia is survived by 3 daughters: Irene Buss (Charles) of Winnipeg, Elaine Acott (Brian) of Oakbank and Lorraine Dmytrow (Leonard) of Dugald,grandchildren:Shandel Happychuk (Tim), Shawnda Recksiedler (Ash), Cody Acott (Janine),Dustin Dmytrow (Lindsay), Jason Dmytrow and Tyler Dmytrow, great- grandchildren: Matthew Recksiedler, Benjamin Recksiedler, Evan Dmytrow,Taylor Dmytrow and Hayden Dmytrow.
She also leaves to mourn her passing 3 sisters: Helen Zavidoski of Thunder Bay ON, Margaret Wallace of Victoria BC, Josie Zetaruk and brother in-law Nick Zetaruk of Winnipeg and many nieces and nephews.
She was also predeceased by her beloved husband Marion and her parents, John and Karolina Kutasiewich, brothers Stan (Jean) Kutasiewich, John Kutasiewich, and Jack (Janet) Kutasiewich, sisters Mary (Nick) Lupkowski, Florence
(Ignace) Niedgialek, and brothers in-law, Louis Zavidoski and Paul Wallace.
Julia was born in Elma MB on June 15, 1920. While growing up on the family farm she attended Elma School. Later she moved to Winnipeg where she was employed at the St. Boniface Hospital.
In 1942 she married Marion Lozinski, moved from Winnipeg to farm in Hadashville, MB, where mom raised her family of three girls. Mom was a wonderful homemaker, loved to bake, cook and could put a meal together in a moment’s notice.
After being predeceased by her husband Marion of 38 years in 1980 she continued living on the farm for another 20 years. In 2000 she left the farm and moved to Kin Place in Oakbank MB. Mom then had some time to play cards, do puzzles, play bingo and spend time with her family and her much loved grand and great grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be held on December 28 at 7pm at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Interment will be on December 29 at 11am at St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Hadashville, Manitoba.
The Pallbearers are Dustin Dmytrow, Jason Dmytrow, Tyler Dmytrow, Cody Acott, Tim Happychuk and Ash Recksiedler.
On behalf of the Lozinski family we would like to thank Dr. Marten and all the nursing staff in N3E of the Concordia Hospital for the wonderful care and compassion that helped make mother’s passing a peaceful one.
