WINNIFRED BETTY FOTTI
1926-2016
Very peacefully in the early morning of January 22, 2016, with her family beside her Betty was reunited with the love of her life Steve. She will be sadly missed by her two sons Ron (Lynne) and Greg. Also surviving are Ron’s children Dean (Joanna), great granddaughter Madison, Jennifer who loved her Grandma so much and was the light of Grandma’s life. Greg’s children Chris (Sarah) and great grandsons Kaden and Chase, Jeffrey (Cynthia) and great grandson Tristan. Foster daughter Linda Shepherd (Wally), their children Jason, Maylia (Ryan) and brand new great granddaughter Braelynn. Foster daughter Louisa Horvath and her children Britney and Dylan. Also her sister, Kye Grimley (Bob) and nephew Dale.
She was predeceased by her husband Steve, her parents Robert and Mary Sewell, brothers Robert and David and sisters Dorothy and Joan.
Betty resided at Carriage House North for many years and will be missed by the caring friends she had there. She also made some wonderful friends at Luther Home while Steve resided there. She was a very loving, caring and generous lady who loved her family unconditionally. She also had a great love of animals very much missing the pets she had over the years.
The family would like to thank the staff at Deer Lodge Centre Geriatric Rehab 2 East for the care and kindness shown to Betty during her 3 month stay there and finally to the staff on 3 North at the Grace Hospital for making her last few days comfortable.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service. A private family interment will take place at a later date. Flowers gratefully declined and anyone wishing to, please make a donation to a charity of your choice.
