Anne was a dear friend for more than 25 years. I never knew what she saw in me as she clearly out ranked me in education and degrees. She used to tell me that I reminded her of herself due to my dedication on the job and work ethic. Of course it could also be that I was known to get into mischief and give Glenn a hard time (all in fun) - I think that was more the attraction. We had many great adventures prior to my moving from Winnipeg to Toronto. After settling out East and having my son, Anne kept in constant communication with me, she faithfully called me almost every single weekend. I will miss her message on my answering machine that always started with " Hey Bennett, where are you"? Who knew, the weekend before Anne passed, she called me three times to chat and wish me a Happy Birthday...that it would be the last time I would hear her voice. Our deepest sympathy goes out to Glenn and Anne's sister Val. We are only saying goodbye for now, we will meet again one day and then spend eternity carrying on where we left off. God Bless the family at this time - may you find comfort in HIM knowing Anne has gone home and is in HIS loving care.
