Obituary of VIOLET MAY SCOTT

VIOLET MAY SCOTT (Nee Ham) June 17, 1925 –March 07, 2016 We are all saddened to announce the passing of our Mom, Violet May Scott, at home on Monday, March 07, 2016. She is survived by her children, daughter Barbara (Rick); and sons, Allan (Diane), David (Christine) and Brian (Mona); she also has 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband William; her parents; and her brothers and sisters. Mom loved her bingo and made many lifelong friends there, one of them being Pauline, who continued to enjoy each other’s company with their weekly visits every Sunday to watch their favorite show “Lawrence Welk” at mom’s house. We would like to thank Joanne and all the other home careworkers who took such great care of Mom for the past eight years and also the many volunteers from Meals on Wheels. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Interment to follow at Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Rest in Peace, Mom
