Obituary of ANNE STEEN

ANNE STEEN(WODCHYC) NEE BIESON Peacefully, in her home, we announce the passing of Anne on Monday , October 31, 2011 at the age of 95 years. Anne was born in Dawidgrudek, Russia on November 24,1915. She immigrated to Canada as a young child with her parents. Anne will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Sasha Petrie(Rene Brunel), sons John and Paul Wodchyc, her grandchild Gary Petrie(Jennifer) and great grandchildren Julia and Jack Petrie. She was predeceased by her husbands Joseph Wodchyc and Fred Steen, and her grandchild Richard Petrie. Anne(mom, grandmother and friend) will always be remembered for her amazing horticulture abilities, kindness, generosity and support. Mother Nature has truly lost one of her best workers. A special thanks to the homecare and palliative care program. The caregivers and nurses were wonderful with her. Cremation has taken place and Anne will be placed to rest with Joseph Wodchyc in Spring. There will be a private celebration of her life.
