Frère Jules Loranger, o.m.i. 1923 – 2016 Paisiblement, le Frère Jules Loranger est décédé le 27 mars 2016 à Actionmarguerite (St-Boniface), Winnipeg, MB à l’âge de 93 ans. En plus de sa famille religieuse, il laisse dans le deuil son frère Fernand, ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces. L’ont précédé dans la tombe ses parents Maurice et Amanda Loranger (née Ferron), son frère Marc (Germaine née Gervais), ses sœurs Jacqueline (Jacques) Plamondon et Madeleine (Paul) Landry. Jules est né à Sorel, QC le 4 février 1923. Il fit ses premiers vœux à Richelieu, QC le 15 août 1946 et ses vœux perpétuels le 29 juin 1953 à Richelieu. Les Oblats et la famille Loranger désirent exprimer leur reconnaissance aux amis du Frère Jules et au personnel de l’Actionmarguerite pour leur dévouement. Les funérailles seront célébrées le jeudi 31 mars 2016 à 10h00 dans la chapelle de la Résidence Despins, 151, rue Despins à Winnipeg. La messe sera présidée par père Edmond Paradis, omi. Visionnement dès 9h00. L’inhumation aura lieu après les funérailles au cimetière de Saint-Boniface. Besides his religious family, he leaves to mourn his brother Fernand, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Maurice and Amanda Loranger (née Ferron), his brother Marc (Germaine née Gervais), his sisters Jacqueline (Jacques) Plamondon and Madeleine (Paul) Landry. Jules was born in Sorel, QC on February 4, 1923. He pronounced his first vows in Richelieu, QC on August 15, 1946 and his perpetual vows on June 29, 1953. The Oblates and the Loranger family wish to thank Brother Jules’s friends and the personnel at Actionmarguerite for their care and devotion. His funeral will be held on March 31, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Despins Residence, 151 Despins Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba.The mass will be presided by Father Edmond Paradis, OMI. Viewing will start at 9:00 a.m. Interment will take place in the St. Boniface cemetery following the funeral.
