Obituary of ELSIE ELAINE MISLAWCHUK
ELSIE ELAINE MISLAWCHUK
June 28, 1935 - March 29, 2016
With deep sadness, we announce the death of our loving mom, baba and friend. Mom was always very organized and independent; this was not to change with her passing. She knew first hand how difficult a death is on loved ones. For this reason, she pre- arranged everything, leaving a list of instructions to make it as easy as possible, Mom didn't stop there, she even wrote her own obituary.
I am writing my own obituary, because who knows me better. I leave my children Patty, Derek, Freddie and Eleanor. I was very blessed to have them. My grandchildren were the joy of my life. When a grandchild is born, so is a Baba. I always said they were my millions, so you know how rich I was to have them in my life. I was a hands on Baba; we spent a lot of fun and happy days together. They gave my life purpose. Thank you Olivia, Chelsea, Tyler and Madison. As our lives slowed down a bit, my cousin Gert and I reconnected and became great friends, I love you Gert. During my working days at Eaton's, I met my good friend Edna. I have cherished our friendship over the many years: I love you Edna. Jim and Jo you welcomed me into your family. Jim, Freddie is lucky to have you in his life. I will now continue my life with Fred and the others I have lost, but now found. I am always, Mum & Baba xoxo.
Private Interment will take place in the summer, per mom's wishes. We love and miss you mom, but take peace knowing you are now pain free and with Dad.
