AARRON DALE ZIOLKOSKI
April 9, 1962 – March 26, 2016
It is with heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of Aarron.
Left to cherish his memory are Darlene and their children Brittany (Scott), and Kolby, his siblings Diana, Tom (Pat), Ray, Sharon (Cam), Peter, Suzanne, David (Donna), Glen (Colette), Ann (Dave) also sisters-in-law Linda, Barb (Garry), numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dearest friend Lisa and the Holgate Family.
Aarron was predeceased by parents Peter and Dorothy, brothers Rick and Jerry, and parents-in-law Joe and Hedy.
Born and raised in Winnipeg, after graduating from Elmwood High School and working construction for a number of years, Aarron had a 25 year career with CN Rail.
Aarron’s greatest pleasure came from spending time with family and friends and helping others. Through the years, he enjoyed time at the cottage, sitting around the campfire, fishing, building, playing with remote control toys and tinkering with all things mechanical. He was a very talented man who loved to use his skill and knowledge to teach the crafts of mechanics and construction to others, especially young people.
Aarron was a long-time member of Blessed Sacrament Parish and the Knights of Columbus.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 11, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. at Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Parish, 710 Roanoke Street. Ash interment will take place at a later date at Elmwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Aarron’s memory may be made to: Canadian Mental Health Association at winnipeg.cmha.ca or Parkinson Canada at www.parkinson.ca.
