Obituary of WALTER NICHOLAS WILLIAMS

WALTER NICHOLAS WILLIAMS January 21, 1935 – April 12, 2016 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Walter on Tuesday, April 12, 2016. Walter is survived by his loving wife Marlene of 54 years as well as his sisters, Olga, Hilda, Cathy; brothers Terry, Borden and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents. Walter starting working for CPRailway and moved on to the Winnipeg Fire Department, where he retired as a Captain. He loved photography, so much so that he worked for Leo Redki Photography and took many photos for the fire department. He belonged to the Firefighters Museum. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 19 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Interment in Brookside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Walter’s memory may be made to the Firefighters Burn Fund.
