Obituary of WILLIAM JAMES WOODFORD

WILLIAM JAMES WOODFORD William, 92, died April 11, 2016 at his residence. He served with PPCLI during WWII as a Corporal in Canada, Britain, Central Mediterranean, and NW Europe. He was awarded the 1939-45 Star, Italy and Germany Star, Defence Medal, Canadian Volunteer Service Medal with Clasp, and War Medal, 1939-45. William was a kind and generous man. He cared for the welfare of others and generously shared what he had. Cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. Interment at Brookside Cemetery at a later date.
