Obituary of MARIA DO CARMO MONIZ

MARIA DO CARMO MONIZ September 24, 1928 – April 14, 2016 Peacefully, with family at her side, Maria Do Carmo Moniz passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 87 years. She was predeceased by her husband Carlos Moniz, and daughter Natalia Botelho. She is survived by Isabel (Jose), Carlos (Margarida), Lucia (Francisco), Ana Paula (Tony), Joao (Lucia), Mario (Dina), Graca (Emanuel), Susana (Joao), 29 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren, Brother Jose(Normanda), Nephews, Nieces and friends. Maria was a loving, caring, and strong woman. She was a woman of faith and loved the Lord with all her heart. She worked hard to raise each and everyone of us with her love and care. Her thoughts and prayers were filled with the worries and cares she had for her children. Maria was a friend to many, with so much love to give. Her smile was radiant, and will always be remembered. Maria was a warrior and a rock which held the family together,always wanting peace and love amongst us all. We will forever cherish the memories and the woman she was. We love you... Love you too Tambem… Prayers will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 21 at 11:00 a.m. also at Cropo Funeral Chapel. Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery.
