Obituary of HELEN CECILIA MENZIE

HELEN CECILIA MENZIE (B.A., M. Ed.) November 22, 1924 – April 24, 2016 On Sunday, April 24, 2016, on her favorite day of the week, our beautiful mother left this world to be with the angels in Heaven. She was a gift to all who met her and her family who loved her so dearly. She will be missed. Mom will be greatly missed by her loving daughter Pamela and son-in-law Garth Ball and her caring son Gordie. Also missing her greatly will be her grandchildren Bronwyn Boge (Adam), Brendan Ball (Kristyn), Lauren Menzie and Duncan Menzie. As well, she will be missed by her three great-grandchildren Austin and Brayden Boge and Lochlan Ball. She lived a long life and always saw the good in everyone. She was a kind and loving woman, always positive, strong with a gentle disposition. Our mom had a wonderful sense of humour and she strongly believed in the value of education. Someone who lived her values, our mom was a treasure to all those fortunate enough to have known her. Her family was her joy. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday, April 29 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Bernadette Parish, 820 Cottonwood Drive, Windsor Park. Interment in Assumption Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Helen's memory may be made to Juvenile Diabetes or CancerCare Manitoba.
