Obituary of MARY KOROLYK
MARY KOROLYK
(nee Paizen)
1921 – 2016
Peacefully, on Monday, May 2, 2016, our beloved Mom, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother passed away at Victoria General Hospital after a short illness.
She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Steffie; her sons, Walter (Anne) and Myron (Edna); her grandchildren, Julie (Roger), Brenda, Debbie (Brett) and Michael; great-grandchildren, Andrew, Jessica and Logan; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her four brothers, John Nick, Mike and Alex Paizen; and her sister Katie Gregorash.
Her greatest joy in life besides her family was her love of animals, especially her dogs Coco and Daisy. Birds and dogs were always a part of her life. Her favorite pastimes included garage sales, country music and sewing. Mom was also a great cook and will be remembered for making the best perogies, twister donuts and prune buns.
Funeral service will take place at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street on Friday, May 6, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. followed by interment at All Saints Cemetery.
We would like to thank the 5th Floor staff of Victoria General Hospital for all their care and support.
Rest in Peace, Mom
You will be forever in our hearts
And always in our thoughts.
