Obituary of MARY EWANYSHYN

MARY EWANYSHYN 1917 – 2011 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother (Baba) on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at the age of 94 years. Mary was born in Oakburn, Manitoba, the eldest daughter of nine children of the late Mike and Ann Matiation. She lived most of her life in Winnipeg and worked as a seamstress for many years. She loved her needlepoint and for many years enjoyed her gardening. Mary was predeceased by her husband Frank in 1977, son Ernie in 1994 and daughter Roxy in 2003. She leaves to mourn her daughter Elssy, son Jerry (Shirley), son-in-law John, 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She also leaves 2 sisters Elsie and Ollie. We would like to thank the staff at Thorvaldson Care Centre for their care and support. Prayers will be said on Thursday, October 6 at Cropo Funeral Chapel at 7:00 p.m. Interment to follow at a later date.
