(NEE FORBISTER)

It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of our Mother, Grandma and Nana Shirley at the age of 85 surrounded by her loving family.
Left to cherish her memory are her children Wanda, Janet, Gary (Tammy) and Jason (Maryann), her grandchildren Scott, Ronnie (Chrystal), Jason (Natalie), Stacey (Pierre), Steven (Amanda), Nick (Gaylene), Luke (Claudia) and Angela (Isaac), her great grandchildren Tana, Sean, Jaylie, Emily, Bryson, Brooke, Trenton, Taylor, Julia, Mason, Olivia and Carson; also her siblings, in laws and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her loving husband of 64 years, Henry, her parents, one brother and two sons-in-law.
Shirley was in born in Portage La Prairie and spent her younger years in High Bluff, MB. She then continued eastward to Winnipeg where she met the love of her life Henry, married in 1949 and raised their family there. Many years later they moved to Portland, Oregon for six years and then returned back to the city they loved. She retired from Pollards Bank Note in 1984 and enjoyed her life doing
what she loved most - making porcelain dolls, sewing, crafting, quilting and singing with Henry. She left us all with many precious keepsakes to treasure. She
loved hockey games, garage sales, the casino and time spent with family. She will be safe in our hearts forever. Love you Mom.
The family would like to thank Dr. Findlayson and the staff of 5th Floor, Unit 5 for their caring attitude with our Mother.
A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, June 7 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street.
