I was completely shocked after reading this in the Winnipeg Free Press today.
I knew Dale from early 90's and from reading about her here, she hadn't changed much, still the fun, funny person with the contagious laugh.
I met her at a PWP social and from that time I knew I met a social butterfly !! Dale was a lot of fun, as were many of her friends. I lost touch with her, but she was often in my thoughts. My condolences to her family and friends.

Roy and I are so sorry to hear of Dale's passing. We knew Dale for many years and as of recently got to chat when she stopped for corn on the way to the lake. I always enjoyed our little visits to catch up on things. Dale was a real lady and She will be missed.

Dear Les,
I met Dale when I first started working for MPE in 1974, and although we never worked in the same department, or on the same floor, our paths always crossed and always in a positive way. She was always the steady calm in the storm, in all situations and this quiet strength of hers was ever so more evident in the past two years. We are all heartbroken that she has left us but feel so lucky to have known her and hope that we can be as strong as her as we go through our own future trials and tribuations. My heart breaks for you and Dale`s family.

Condolences to Les and the family for your loss. I have been friends with Dale for many years and we had many laughs and tears, She was a true friend,,never judging and always there to chat or listen. She was a strong person,,,with a soft heart.

I am so sorry to hear of Dales passing. I do remember our last phone call as we talked about what she was going through and she seemed so grateful for the information I was able her give her . We had lots of laughs about the good old days and a few tears about what was happening now. I will always think of Dale as she was a wonderful person to be around. Remember now when you feel a gentle breeze that will be Dale spreading her wings, she will always be with us. Take care knowing you are in the thoughts and prayers of others. Les, my condolences to you and Dale's family. Dale was a fighter, she fought for 2 years and never gave up, It's hard to believe she is now gone. Much too young! She was a friend, who a laugh could always be shared. Dale will live in my heart forever! Rest my friend.

Dale was an amazing person who always had time to share a story, a few laughs and there may of been a gin and tonic or two involved. She'll be missed by all that knew her especially the friends she made in our Manitoba Pool days.

To Les and family,
I am deeply sorry for your loss. I started working at Manitoba Pool Elevators in 1977, and Dale was already there and sat right beside me. Thus started our friendship. I am a member of the dinner group and was glad to see her every month. In the last year I have been so impressed by her positive attitude, grace, and will to fight. She is truly an inspiration.
