Obituary of FRED BOYCHUK

FRED BOYCHUK Peacefully, on June 20, 2016 Fred passed away at the age of 80 years. Fred is survived by his five sons Richard, Mel, Michael, Lyle, and John; his long-time companion and friend, Diana; four grandchildren Vanessa (David), Tamara, Gregory, Jasmine (Cody); four great grandchildren; sisters Kay, Emily; brother Alex (Joyce), and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Maria and Marko; daughter Maureen and mother of his children, Anne; siblings Stephen, Anne, Johnson, Helen, Elsie, Peter, and Billy. Fred was born in East Selkirk in 1936. He worked as a plumber for 44 years, working at CNR from 1974 – 1998. He always enjoyed hunting, gardening, and his time dancing at Legion 141. Thanks to the staff of Holy Family Home for all their compassion and care. Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, June 28 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba.
