Obituary of ROBERT BRENT MCADAM

ROBERT BRENT MCADAM October 10, 1962 – September 6, 2016 With great sadness the family announces the sudden passing of Rob McAdam. After many years of battling his addiction with alcohol, he is finally at peace. Right from a young age Rob had a strong work ethic beginning as a paper boy with the Winnipeg Tribune. This work ethic was evident and continued throughout his career at Westfair Foods, Hudson’s Bay and Pratt’s. He excelled at many sports but his true loves were bowling, baseball and golf. He was predeceased by his grandparents Henry and Lillian Kuhn and his brother Doug. Left to mourn his passing are his mother Florence McAdam; siblings Brian (Susan) McAdam, Sheila (Pat) Ridge, Ward (Cheryl) McAdam, Brenda Managh, Colleen (Brian) Hogue; sister-in-law Brenda McAdam as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the compassionate staff in the CCU unit at the Health Sciences Centre. As per Rob’s request, there will not be a service. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rob’s memory to Siloam Mission or Salvation Army.
