Obituary of CHRISTOPHER ANDREW SIMONS
CHRISTOPHER ANDREW SIMONS
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our brother/son Christopher Andrew Simons. Christopher passed away peacefully on Monday, September 5, 2016.
Chris will be greatly missed by his dad Ronald Simon; mom Sheila Wager; brother Stephen (Nina) Simons; sisters, Susan Neumann, Kim Simons and Tracy (Paul) Debeer; nieces, Tiffany (Jason) Declercq and Chelsey Neumann; nephews, Joey Debeer, Casey Brydges and Brandon Neumann; his great-niece Jenna Declercq; great nephew Blake Declercq; and his long term girlfriend Cheryl Pelkey.
Chris was known as the Gentle Giant with the biggest heart, a happy jolly man who never complained, he was always there for you and happy to help anyone in need. Chris was a volunteer at the Winnipeg Harvest Food Bank for many years and enjoyed his work there.
Our family would like to send thanks to Rhonda at St. Boniface Hospital and to all of the people at The Winnipeg Harvest Food Bank.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Christopher’s memory may be made to the Winnipeg Harvest Food Bank or the Canadian Heart Association.
A Funeral Service will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street on Friday, September 16, 2016 at 2:00 pm.
