Obituary of BEVERLEY ADA MAUDE HOWARTH
BEVERLEY ADA MAUDE HOWARTH
(Nee White)
While held in the arms of love, peacefully and under a harvest moon our devoted mom, Gramma, Great-Gramma, Sister, Aunt and Friend passed into eternal life following a sudden stroke on Saturday September 17, 2016. Baptized into faith at a young age mom was the oldest of 6 children born in Rouyn, Quebec in 1934. Her larger than life personality was nurtured with a simple life growing up by the lake, in Red Lake Ontario.
Her joy in life grew with the birth of her four children in Thunder Bay, ON. Mom was passionate about their activities creating lasting memories, especially trips to the beach, BBQ's, and hours of Karaoke.
Mom was especially proud of becoming a Gramma and Great Gramma. She never left a soul out, making friends everywhere she went. An expert story teller, she commanded laughter and attention with her quick wit and humour. Her youthful energy proved true as she retired at the age of 70 from Red River College after 30 years. She had a passion for children and youth which kept her young at heart.
With her youngest of five children, a son residing in Winnipeg, she was blessed to share an incredible bond with her grandchildren Ashton and Ava. They were the light of her life. She lived life colourfully with them, never missing a chance to bake, have a sleepover, movie date, or a chance to dance with them in the living room. She filled all our lives with warm hugs, and an immense amount of unconditional love.
She is reunited with her parents, Rita and Percy White, sisters Kelli -Jo, Barbara and Ginny, nephews Randy, Harley, and sister in law Mary whom she dearly loved. Her Spirit shall live on in her children, Kirk(Cindy), Cyndy (Brad), Shelley, Lesley of Thunder Bay, Robert(Michelle)Wpg.; brothers, Don(Loretta),and Rick(June); 10 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces.
In accordance with moms wishes cremation has taken place and a Memorial Reception will be held in her honour Thursday, September 22 at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Winnipeg at 2:00 p.m. Colourful attire is welcomed to suit mom’s vibrant personality.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to mom's new friends at Arlington Haus, CCU 3rd floor staff at HSC for their prompt and loving care. Sincere gratitude to those who visited mom in her final days and blessings to many family and friends for your various ways of support at this difficult time.
"I Love you a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck....." Love Mom
We will miss you so much, but with faith we know we will see you in Heaven one day.
"I'm blowing you a kiss...and a tight hug." Love Ava
