Obituary of EMMANUEL (MANNY) DYAL
EMEMMANUEL DYAL
On September 29, 2016, Emmanuel Dyal, with his family and a friend gathered around him, got his wings and went home to be with his Heavenly Father.
Emmanuel is survived by his wife of almost 43 years, Jenny; sons Scott (Jenn), Steve, Daniel (Ako); daughters Amanda and Ashley; 3 grandchildren Kayla, Joshua and Riley; 5 sisters, 1 brother, 1 aunt, 4 nieces and many cousins in Trinidad, Canada and the United States.
When Emmanuel arrived from Trinidad, he held several jobs. He started working at Florist Supply in 1976, first as a truck driver and then as a salesman. He made many life-long friends with the staff and the customers. He loved being surrounded by the flowers. After 31 years on the job he retired.
The family would like to thank the Palliative Ward at St. Boniface Hospital, their kindness and care made a difficult time a little easier. We also thank special friend Randy, who stayed and comforted us in Emmanuel’s final hours. We also thank Kevin MacDonald for coming to speak to Emmanuel, these talks helped him greatly on his journey home. A big Thank-You to all our friends who have offered their help, especially Sherine and Laura, the 2 of you have been our rock. Finally Jenny would like to thank Scott, Steve and Daniel. While working full time they still spent every available hour with their dad, staying at the hospital all night and leaving to go to work in the morning. Your dad knew how very much you loved him.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 7 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street.
