During his time in Churchill, he would start friendships that would span the course of his life. He began his career with CN Rail in 1980, which had him move to Winnipeg after a few years. He reconnected Trish in 1989, which led to a long and love filled relationship. In the last decade, he began working with Great White Bear Tours in Churchill, alongside his employment with CN. Ward had many passions but he was most passionate when it came to anything mechanical, especially vehicles, and motorcycles. As of recently, he had started to take photography as another serious passion. He will always be remembered for his humour, quick wit, and a big heart. Ward will be greatly missed by all who knew him. The family would like to thank the people at Great White Polar Bear Tours.
