ALFRED MIESKES August 8, 1927 – November 13, 2016 It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Alfred on November 13, 2016. Alfred is survived by his step-son Richard Cholon (Carol); grandchildren, Curtis Cholon (Helen), Rana (Devin) and Laura; step-daughter Christine Moss (Gordon); grandchildren, Kyle Shain (Nicole), Kaitlyn Shain-Wimer (Mark); great-grandchildren, Liam and Eric Cholon and Wyatt Wimer; cousins Rudy Weidenbacher (Joanna), and John (deceased) and Delaura Weidenbacher; as well as extended family. Memorial Service to be held Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, Winnipeg. Interment to follow at Holy Ghost Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of MB.
