Obituary of MARY MISURAK

Mary Misurak (Melnyk) 1930-2016 After a courageous battle with cancer and C.O.P.D., it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mary on Friday, December 16, 2016. Left to cherish her memory are brothers Wally (Ruth), Peter (Adele), Harry (Sylvia); sister-in-law Eva and numerous nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by her husband Nick; her parents Katherine and John; sister Ann; brothers Nick, Bill and Steve; nephews Rick, Terry, Paul; sisters-in-law Gerry and Marion. After her husband’s passing she thrived on her own for 31 years with a cheerful and sunny outlook on life. She was a quiet and private person with a friendly disposition and family was important. In keeping with Mary’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family memorial service will be held at a later date. The family wishes to thank 3E at Riverview Health Centre for her palliative care team and loving care and compassion. If so desired, donations may be made in Mary’s memory to CancerCare Manitoba.
