Dear Mary & Family,
We were shocked to hear of the sudden passing of your dear husband Cliff. I had spoken with you just a few days ago, and at that time you said that he was holding his own, and you were looking forward to Christmas with your family. I understand that you were able to enjoy a good day with Cliff and your family on Christmas Eve. It is a blessing that you were all together at the time of his passing.
Please accept our deepest sympathy. He will be fondly remembered by all his friends in Sandy Hook.
