Obituary of TOMAS (TOM) PAUL WACKERMAN
TOMAS (TOM) PAUL WACKERMAN
1965-2016
It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved husband and father, Tom, on Friday, December 23, 2016 at 51 years of age.
In addition to his wife Teresa (Terry), he leaves behind two sons, Brandon and Mason. Tom will be lovingly remembered by two sisters, Theresa (Edgar) and Helene (Roe); one brother Tony (Theo); sister-in-law Lidia (Will) and mother-in-law Maria; as well as, his many cherished nieces and nephews. Tom is now reunited with his parents, Francis and Caroline; his sister Janice; and his father-in-law Federico.
A devoted husband and father, Tom’s children were the pride and joy of his life. The legacy of his kind spirit, gregarious personality and zest for life will live on through them. His smile would light up the room while his voice would fill it with boisterous cheer.
Tom was a kind and gentle person who loved spending time with family and friends and was always there to lend a hand to anyone who needed it. To know Tom was to love him.
Tom was born in Winnipeg in 1965. He attended Holy Ghost school and served as an altar boy at Holy Ghost Church. It was one fateful night, at a Halloween social at Red River College that Tom met the love of his life, Terry. They were married in 1992. Halloween was a special time for him and Terry, and even more so as the years passed and their family grew.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, Winnipeg with Fr. Sam Argenziano officiating. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Tomas’ memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
Tom, you will be missed but not forgotten.
