Obituary of ELAINE SHARON PETERSON

ELAINE SHARON PETERSON April 14, 1944 – January 23, 2017 Peacefully at her residence, Elaine Peterson, our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away at the age of 72. She leaves to mourn, her daughter Kimberley (Porkchop and Dixie); 2 sons Rick (Dee) and Doug (Janet); 4 grandchildren Tonya (Pedro), Ricky (Lisa), Lisa and Tyler; and 2 great-grandchildren Sean and Michelle. Elaine was predeceased by her 6 brothers and sisters Alan, Richard, Irene, Shirley, Helen, Alice as well as 7 siblings whom died in infancy; her parents Martin Henry and Margaret Ann Skadsheim and by special friend Erdman Martens. Elaine was a small but feisty lady. She enjoyed the Jets and especially her cat Fluffy. She loved shopping and going out for lunch with her daughter Kim. She can now rest in peace and will not be lonely any more. Celebration of Elaine’s Life will be held on Saturday, January 28 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Elaine’s memory to the Winnipeg Humane Society. “Miss and love you, Mom”
