Obituary of VINCENT STEWART MCNICOL
VINCENT STEWART MCNICOL
March 6, 1953 to February 16, 2017
Vincent passed away peacefully at the Winnipeg Health Sciences Center on February 16, 2017.
Despite becoming a paraplegic following a work accident at the age of 19, Vincent loved sports, the outdoors, fishing, music, and gatherings with his family and friends. He had a great many friends and really appreciated their outings and visits.
Vincent had a monstrous personality, a big heart for all of his family and a special place for his many nieces and nephews. His home was open to all. Vincent was the bridge for the McNicol Clan and will be greatly missed but the memories will live on.
Vincent was born in Roblin; son of Stewart and Betty McNicol. He was predeceased by his grandparents (Guy, Elizabeth McNicol), his father Stewart and his sister Gail. He leaves behind his mother Betty, brothers Gordon (Carole), Ken (Norma), Keith (Marharyta), sisters Shirley, Brenda (Frank), Theresa (Charles), Joann (Mike), many nieces, nephews and an abundance of friends.
A celebration of Vincent's life will be held on Sunday, March 5, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, Winnipeg. ALL ARE WELCOME.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Paraplegic Association (Manitoba) Inc.
Vincent's legacy was to love and live life to the fullest, as he did. Vincent now walks with his father and sister in the great beyond.
Rest in peace, have a beer and may you be a master angler!
