Obituary of HILDEGARD TARNOKY

HILDEGARD TARNOKY 1936 - 2017 Hildegard went home to be with The Lord on March 5, 2017 at the age at 80. She leaves to cherish in her memory, husband Lajos, daughter Carmen, son-in-law Dale, granddaughters Dana and Cassandra, brother Horst, sister Monica and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Hildegard moved to Canada in the 1950's married Robert Guenther, started a family and opened Becker's restaurant. Shortly afterwards she became a seamstress for many years. In 1988 Hildegard married Lajos Tarnoky and worked for home care until she retired. Lajos and Hildegard were happily married for 29 years. Hildegard had a special relationship with her children and grandchildren. She was known for her caring and loving nature, and her love of Jesus Christ. She will be greatly missed. A Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at McDermot Baptist Church, 821 McDermot Ave. Personal Viewing of Hildegard will start at 10:30 a.m. A private family interment at Norris Lake Cemetery to follow after a luncheon.
