Obituary of WILLIAM NAZERAVICH

WILLIAM NAZERAVICH June 11, 1917 – March 26, 2017 Peacefully on March 26, 2017, William (Bill) Nazeravich of Winnipeg, Manitoba, aged 99 years, passed away at the Luther Personal Care Home. Bill was predeceased by his loving wife Ann Olga; he will be missed by his children, son Wayne (Monique), daughter Lori and his cherished grandchildren Kelly (Chris) and great-grandson Cooper; Cheri (Grant) and great-grandson Leo; and, Kevin. Remembering him also are sisters-in-law Frances, Anne, Phyllis and Alyce along with many nephews and nieces. A heartfelt thank you to Alyce and Frances for their on-going support and many Luther Personal Care Home visits. Bill was also predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Pelahia; brothers and sisters, Alexander, Nick, Dennis, Myron, Mary, Olga and Jean. While at Teacher Training in Winnipeg Normal School, he met and married Olga enjoying a caring relationship that lasted 70 years. By attending summer and night classes at Universities of Manitoba and Winnipeg, he achieved a Master of Education degree. He joined the Child Guidance Clinic of greater Winnipeg in the Department of Psychology and remained there until retirement; he found this phase of his career stimulating and rewarding. Bill and his wife enjoyed cruises and overseas travels. He liked meeting with family and friends at home and at their cottage. The family would like to thank the staff at Kildonan House, W.R.H.A. for the Home Care assistance provided during the past years and especially the caring staff at Luther Personal Care Home. A private family memorial service of Bill's life has taken place.
