I have known Eugene and Lillian for over 25 years. I always appreciated the lively discussion and most of all the stories we shared. Both Gene and Lillian never let a visit go by without proudly giving an update on all the blessings bestowed upon their family. The artists and the musicians the grandchildren and all the love. I always left their company feeling uplifted and grateful for everything in my life. The Cherwicks' are truly a wonderful family and Eugene lived a life any man would honor.

I will celebrate a Divine Liturgy for Eugene , but it will include prayers or Lil and the whole family. This will happen during Wednesday of Bright Week so that I can sing Christ is Risen and so I would remember that "He" is the pattern for all of us to follow.

My condolences to all the family. I pray that God will give you peace and comfort in your time of grief. I was able to see one of the last Icons that Terry did with his father. It was beautiful and a testimony to the faith that both people had in their Lord and Saviour.
