Obituary of KATHARINE LINDA CHARLOTTE DYCK
KATHARINE LINDA CHARLOTTE DYCK
(Known as Kathy)
February 4, 1956 – May 9, 2017
Suddenly on May 9, 2017 we lost our beloved daughter, sister, auntie and friend.
She was predeceased by father Herman (1985).
Kathy will be missed by her mother Frances; brothers Larry (Susan), Jerry (Susan), Randy (Iona), Ken; sister Sandra; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Kathy was born in Winnipeg, the eldest of her siblings, and lived most of her life in the Brooklands area. She attended Kirkfield Park School. She enjoyed Elvis Presley songs and all western music. She went to Memphis, Graceland, which she enjoyed very much. She also went to Las Vegas, but said it was too hot. Kathy enjoyed watching the old Elvis Presley movies on T.V. She worked for Waso for 25 years where she made many lasting friendships. She enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews and car rides with her family. She joked and teased her brothers. Kathy loved all animals, especially small dogs.
The family would like to thank Visions of Independence and all the friends who visited.
Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 16 at noon at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Interment to follow in Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame Avenue.
