CHARLOTTE ANNE STANKIEWICZ
On Saturday, May 20, 2017, at her residence, Charlotte, beloved sister of Joan, passed away suddenly. Besides her sister Joan, she is survived by her sister-in-law, Nell Stanson of Winnipeg, nephews, James Stanson and wife Michelle, Robert Stanson and wife Michelle, niece, Diane Pyndykowski and many great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Stanley and Josephine Stankiewicz and her brother Stan.
Charlotte was born and raised in Winnipeg. She was a graduate of St. Mary’s Academy, and the University of Manitoba, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree. In her career, she was the Director of Medical Informatics at the St. Boniface Hospital. Throughout her life, she was an avid participant in sports, particularly tennis and golf.
Prayers will be held Wednesday, May 31, at 10:30 am at St Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church, Munroe Avenue and Brazier St., followed by the Mass of Resurrection at 11:00 am with Fr Janusz Maron officiating. A private interment will take place following the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Alphonsus Building Fund or to a charity of your choice.
